Visit-A-Class (all day)
Come see Union faculty in action by sitting in on a class. Remember professors are opening up their classes as a courtesy to our guests so please be respectful of the classroom and our students. Please note that not all classes are open, and the schedule is subject to change based on the academic calendar. 

Admissions Visit Experience 
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Grant Hall
The Office of Admissions will be open from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm with  visit experiences offered at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. The visit experience includes an information session and student led campus tour. Admissions interviews are available for high school seniors by appointment only. Please call the Office of Admissions at 518-388-6112 or schedule online at www.union.edu/visit

Registration and Check-in 
11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Reamer Campus Center Atrium
Pick-up all your registration materials, get a campus map, and find out what additional events have been added to the weekend lineup! Our friendly staff will get you situated and ready to go for an amazing weekend on campus!  

President's Welcome Reception
4:00 p.m., Nott Memorial
Families of current students and alumni are invited to join President Stephen C. Ainlay, Mrs. Judith Gardner Ainlay, Faculty and Administration of the College for a "Welcome to Campus."

Golub House Oktoberfest
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Golub House
This annual student run event features fun German fare, music and much more!

Chemistry Club Ice Cream Social 
4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Reamer Campus Patio
Come watch as the Chemistry Club prepares ice cream, and then indulge with students, faculty, parents, and guests at this festive annual event.

Pumpkin Carving Competition 
4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Reamer Campus Patio 
Come show us your pumpkin carving skills! Pumpkins, donuts, cider, and supplies are provided.  (4) Semi-Finalists picked on Friday night, and will be voted on during the Tailgate picnic on Saturday with the winner announced at Halftime of the Football game!  

Student Led Shabbat Services and Dinner
6:00 p.m., Hillel (West College)
This service is free and open to all.  The Kosher Shabbat dinner begins at 6:15 p.m. For further information contact Bonnie Cramer, Director of Hillel at cramerb@union.edu or (518) 388-6539.

Volunteer Appreciation Reception*
6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Nott Memorial
Union will recognize and honor alumni volunteers who have graciously given their time and talent to forge a stronger Union. By invitation only. 

Men's Lacrosse Reception
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Abbe Hall
Alumni and families are invited to socialize with coaches and players.  Food will be served, and a cash bar available. 

Campus Movie - Movie To Be Announced
7:00 p.m & 10:00 p.m, Reamer Campus Center Auditorium

Come compete in this annual 5k Race! Prizes for fastest male and female times! No pre-registration required.

Family Portraits

Meet your family at Abbe Hall for a festive fall portrait. Please contact The Annual Fund at 518.388.6175 to reserve a time. Abbe Hall is located at 1128 Lenox Road. 

Sing-Along hosted by the Union College Choir
11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Taylor Music Center
Prof. Dianne McMullen will lead all assembled in the singing of some canons and some other short pieces. No need to have a great voice, come for the fun! We'll have light refreshments at the end, during which alums can meet current choir members. 

International Programs Presents a Study Abroad Panel & Reception

A talk on Study Abroad led by the International Programs office with Prof. Lara Atkins. Meet students who have gone abroad, see photos, hear their stories and ask questions.
