FAQs

How do I register for Homecoming & Family Weekend? When is the deadline?
Registration closes Friday, October 13, no cancellations or refunds will be offered after this date.

To register after Friday, October 13: Please visit Registration in person during Homecoming & Family Weekend. Registration is located on the first floor of the Reamer Campus Center.

Hours during the weekend are:
Friday, October 20,  11:00 a.m.– 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 21, 8:00 a.m.–  3:00 p.m.

Why should I register before the weekend?
Registration is a must! Your registration helps us know how many people are coming to Homecoming & Family and allows us to provide you with important information for the weekend. Please per-register for events that are “no charge” so we can offer you the best possible service.

Ticket prices for HFW events are listed on the online registration form. HFW is not a fundraising event for the College. The events that we offer to alumni & families throughout the weekend involve considerable cost for such amenities as tent and table rentals, entertainment, wait staff, labor and maintenance.

How do I know if my registration was received?
If you have provided an email address with your registration, you will receive an email confirmation upon completion of your registration. If you have not provided an email address, you can view the list of Registered Attendees and look for your name (please allow a day or two for you registration to be completed). Please contact our office at (518) 388-6168 if you have any questions.

Can I come if I didn’t per-register?

Yes! Please note returning alumni and Union parents and families are strongly encouraged to register in advance. Some events have limited capacities and sell out quickly. We cannot guarantee the availability at an event if you have not registered in advance.

What is the deadline to register?

To guarantee your registration for the weekend, online submissions and mailed in forms must be received with payment in full by the end of business on Friday, October 13, 2017. No cancellations or refunds will be offered after Friday, October 13, 2017.

What happens if I need a refund?
Refunds can only be requested on or before the registration deadline, or in emergency situations. Refund checks will be mailed after Homecoming & Family Weekend and bookkeeping has been completed.

Where do I stay during Homecoming & Family Weekend?

There are a variety of area hotels, and a list has been provided under the accommodations page. Please note: these hotels fill up early and you may need to check other area hotels.

Golf carts will be available on a continuous loop on and around campus: Friday (2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.) and Saturday (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.). (Due to the limited number of carts available, this courtesy is extended first to guests with special needs.)
