Class Notes Guidelines

General guidelines for Class Notes

All items submitted will appear online in their entirety, however, may be subject to editing.

All notes submitted will be further reviewed for publication in the magazine, and are subject to editing, both for grammar and space availability.

In general, notes should not exceed 100 words, though there may be instances where longer items are run.

It is important to remember that there is limited space in each issue. We do our best to include all items submitted by the deadline. However, there may be times when the magazine is full before the deadline. In such cases, these items will have priority in the next issue.

Similarly, deadlines are hard. Items received after the deadline will be included in the next edition.

Submitting Photos:

Also, pictures are welcome with any birth, union or notes submission. Images must be 1 MB or larger to be printed in the magazine.

Class Correspondents

Class correspondents’ contact information will be published in the Union College magazine, as well as on the class page. If you are submitting notes on behalf of your classmate, please email on or before the deadline.

Please note, other than during your ReUnion planning year, class pages can only be accessed by logging into UConnect, Union’s alumni community.
